How to Book Gulmarg Gondola Tickets
The Gulmarg Gondola is one of the highest cable cars in the world. Tickets must be booked online weeks in advance, as on-spot tickets are not available. The ride has two phases:
- Phase 1 (Gulmarg to Kongdori): Takes you to a height of 8,530 feet through lush pine forests. Price: ~₹810 per person.
- Phase 2 (Kongdori to Apharwat Peak): Reaches 14,000 feet, offering panoramic views of Nanga Parbat and the LOC. Price: ~₹1,010 per person.
Skiing and Winter Sports
From December to early March, Gulmarg receives deep, soft snow, attracting skiers globally. You can hire local certified ski instructors for 1-day or 5-day packages, including equipment rental (skis, boots, helmets, poles) starting at around ₹2,500 per day.
